Who we are

Wondrful makes personalised children's colouring pages from your own family photos. We're a small business based in the United Kingdom, and we're the "data controller" for the information described here. You can reach us any time at hello@wondrful.co.uk.

What we collect

To make and deliver your colouring page, we collect:

• the photo you send us,
• your name and email address, so we can send your finished page and keep you updated on your order, and
• your order details (order number and what you bought), so we can match your photo to your order.

That's it. We don't ask for anything we don't need, and we never collect more than we have to.

How we use your photo

Your photo is used for one thing only: to create the colouring page(s) you ordered. Every page is checked by hand before it reaches you, so it really looks like your child. Your photo is never sold, and never shared with anyone except the trusted services that help us produce and deliver your order (see "The services we use" below).

Payment and checkout

You can buy from us in two places, and we never see or store your card details in either:

• On this website, payment is handled securely by Stripe, our payment provider. Your card details go straight to Stripe and are processed under their own privacy policy.
• On Etsy, payment and checkout are handled entirely by Etsy under their own privacy policy, and they simply pass us the order so we know it's genuine.

The services we use

We use a small number of trusted providers to run our business: Stripe for payments, Etsy for orders placed there, and an email provider to send you your page and order updates. Creating your colouring page also involves specialist image-processing tools. Some of these providers are based outside the UK; where that's the case, we only use providers that commit to protecting your information to UK standards. These providers act on our instructions and are not allowed to use your photo or details for their own purposes.

Marketing emails

If you've ordered from us, we may occasionally email you about new products or offers, as a customer with a genuine interest in what we make. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time, either from that link or by emailing us. Opting out of marketing never affects the emails we need to send about an order you've placed.

How long we keep it

We delete your photo once your order is complete and you've confirmed you're happy with it. We keep basic order details (your name, email and what you ordered) for a reasonable period afterwards, so we can help with any follow-up such as a reprint, deal with refunds, and meet our legal and accounting obligations. If you've asked to hear from us, we keep your contact details until you unsubscribe.

Asking us to delete your data

You can ask us to delete your photo and details at any time, for any reason. Just email hello@wondrful.co.uk with your order number and we'll take care of it and confirm once it's done.

Your rights

Wherever you live, you can ask us to show you the information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, stop sending you marketing, or restrict how we use it. Just get in touch and we'll help.

Depending on where you are, local data protection law may give you further rights. If you're in the UK or the EU, the UK GDPR and EU GDPR give you all of the above, and you can also complain to your data protection authority. In the UK that's the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk; in the EU it's your national authority. Wherever you are, you're welcome to raise any concern with us first and we'll do our best to put it right.
